On Thursday, a group of fourteen House Republicans led by Georgia Congresswoman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene wrote a letter to Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser to terminate Deputy Warden Kathleen Landerkin of the D.C. Correctional Treatment Facility over the reports of inhumane treatment of January 6th defendants.

In the letter, Rep.MTG called out the warden for running a “two-tier justice system” after her recent congressional visit to the facility along with Texas Republican congressman Rep. Louis Gohmert.

“January 6 defendants were treated categorically different from the remainder of the prison population,” the letter reads, referencing to testimony from the accused “months of solitary confinement, verbal abuse (e.g., called ‘white supremacists’), harassment, beatings from guards, denial of basic medical care, religious services, communion, nutritious diet, and access to attorneys.”

Unlike the BLM and Antifa rioters, most of these defendants have no prior criminal history and are yet to be charged in the case. “Landerkin is allowing them to be treated as subhuman.” Rep. MTG published her findings from her recent visit in an eyewitness report titled, “Unusually Cruel” this was released on Dec 7, earlier this month.

In a long Twitter thread over the weekend, the congresswoman exposed Landerkin’s bias and his history of sharing Anti-Trump and Anti-Republican content online.

On January 2, the warden wrote on his social media “Retweet if you want [Nancy Pelosi] to punish the 140 House Republican traitors who are trying to overturn the election by refusing to seat them in Congress.”

She has also promoted an Anti-Trump book on his social media that depicts the former president as a pig. The book is titled, “If You Give A Pig The White House.”

The congressional letter continues, “These examples are merely a drop in the ocean of statements which Landerkin has publicly supported over the last seven years — They reveal the unhinged personality of a left-wing ideologue who despises our system of government and those who serve in it, especially Members of Congress and the former President of the United States.”

The Republican lawmakers who co-signed this letter with Rep. MTG are Rep. Matt Gaetz, Rep. Bob Good of Virginia, Rep. Andy Harris of Maryland, Rep. Ralph Norman of South Carolina, Rep. Mary Miller of Illinois, Rep. Barry Moore of Alabama, Rep. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin, Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Rep. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania, Rep. Michael Cloud of Texas, Rep. Andy Biggs and Rep. Paul Gosar, from Arizona.
